This is a mutli-day, multiple-competency activity for French students of any age. Students are given a lot of freedom of choice (they may work alone or with up to two partners). This activity is broken up into presentational writing and speaking activities. One activity involves the creation of a fashion sketchbook where students must draw (or bring in examples) of an outfit and write a description about it. The second activity involves describing orally a stereotypical American fashion style that a French person might not understand. The instructions are very detailed and the project comes with a full rubric for grading student products, as well as student work effort during the days given.
