This French clothing vocabulary speaking activity is a fun way to practice forming complete sentences with common summer and winter clothes. This clothing activity is appropriate for Core French and French immersion classes.
Includes 3 dice templates: one with subject pronouns, another with winter clothing images, and a third with summer clothing images. Students roll the French subject pronoun die and a clothing die to complete sentences using the subject and the image shown. You can play with the winter clothing dice, the summer clothing dice, or both, asking students to alternate rolls so you can incorporate 12 vocabulary terms.
*You can ask students to use the verb porter or any other verbs they know, such as acheter, mettre, or vouloir. They'll pick a logical verb, conjugate it to match the subject, and add the correct French clothing word.
This can be used as a stand-alone speaking activity, but it coordinates well with my French clothing vocabulary speaking and writing packet.
Also includes a student writing page so you can use it as a writing activity or at centers.
This resource includes color and black and white dice + dice with images only PLUS dice with images and words, so you can adjust the difficulty level as needed for different ages and abilities. Also includes 2 dice so you can choose French Canadian clothing words (tuque, chandail) or European French words (bonnet, pull).
