Do your French students struggle with phrases like, "I have hunger, I have right, I have luck?" This jigsaw activity is a useful hands on activity to help students review expressions with avoir, etre, and faire. There is also a slide for aller and venir.
If your students have iPads, you can share the 2 slides of this presentation with them through iTunes U or however your share information. They will need to open the presentation in Power Point or Keynote. (Google slides might work as well; I haven't tried it.) They tap on a vocab expression until the little box pops up around it. Now they can drag it to the appropriate sentence starter, J'ai, Je suis or Je fais. Since it's kind of like putting a puzzle together, it's great for the kinesthetic learners.
It's a little more work for you if you won't be using iPads. Print the pages at the end of the presentation and cut out the vocab expressions. Students will physically place them under the correct sentence starter.
