Product Description

This French food vocabulary game is a favorite in my classroom. If your French beginners need some more reinforcement to learn their nourriture and their boissons then you'll want to check this out! We call it "La Claque !"

This game contains printable vocabulary cards that you cut out and have the students place face up on the table. You get cards with words and cards with images so you can decide if you want to give the English translation and have them search for the French word or if you want to give the French word and have them search for the corresponding image. Students race to find the correct word or image first. The winner is the student with the most cards at the end of the game.

You will get:

Teacher directions

Over 75 word cards with common food and drink vocabulary - You'll get 2 sets (1 with definite/indefinite articles and 1 with the partitive article). This will allow you to add a bit of grammar if you like.

Over 75 image cards

8 editable cards (to add terms only - no images)

When 2 terms are commonly used, I have included both terms so you can choose the term you like. Example: beurre de cacahuète and pâte d'arachide.

I've included detailed directions on how to play plus some other handy ways you can use these cards.
