Product Description

Students are given a brief reading of French used in the United States and are asked to color code a United States map based on the areas they read about. Afterwards, on the backside, they are asked to brainstorm some French names or places they might already know about, along with an example of the New Hampshire welcome sign. This handout is a great "first week" activity to get students thinking about what French they might have already been exposed to or about places/things/people they did not know of before.
