Well, this ppt has a paragraph for the teacher/student with the info, slides, t/f questions, new voc generator, rubric and handout for the listening and writing, and conversation generator questions!

I have the CNN website I got the news story from so how long it remains on their site I cannot say - but I included it! ALL ABOUT FLYING CARS - so much fun! By 2017 according to the article!
You can look it up on CNN, but I have done the work, and am passing it on to you!
I am giving CNN total credit, and using a NEWS story to teach!
Depending on the level, YOU get as sophisticated as you want!

First, this is not like any other ppt I have done before! It is not an explanation of grammar, not a simple grammar ppt. This is totally different! I am on to something bigger than I thought! More work, but HUGE in satisfaction!
I take a current event, talk about it in the target language, (French here) use NO English (that is fun, hard, laugh out loud with my gestures and flapping around!)
On the slides - written info, t/f questions, voc at the end, slides with words and pics, wow! And I added the worksheet with the 3 areas (listening, writing, speaking with a little rubric for the conversation!)
I then attack the news item on 3 fronts -
did the students "get" anything out of the article? - generating pieces of information or answering T/F questions
Can they talk even for 45 seconds about the ppt?
Can they write (or generate as a group) anything from info to their simple opinion?
Why am I so happy with this? I am USING so much voc, which is so much richer than the book voc! I am speaking French/Spanish, the students get some really cool info from news sources! And they remember and associate the voc with a real event - more likely to remember! (I told them, "Wait till you get the the ppt on the new tomb discovered in March 2015!"
So I so hope you have fun with this!
