French passé composé project for PowerPoint
Do you want a fun way to assess your French students' mastery of the passé composé both orally and in written French? This group project is a perfect way to assess students' speaking and writing of the passé composé. It helps the kids learn about culture while practicing speaking, writing, and listening skills.

Students are asked to:
Create and present a PowerPoint using the passé composé detailing the main events of their recent trip to Paris.
• Tell with whom they traveled.
• Tell how long they stayed
• Tell where they stayed (youth hostel, hotel)
• Pick at least 5 monuments and/or museums to visit.
• Tell about 10 other activities they did in Paris.

Includes:
* 2 Instruction pages in French and English for the project (1 with a set number of pages, pictures, and places visited and another with blanks provided for students to write in your requirements)
* Vocabulary list of useful transition words
* Research questions to guide the research process
* Grading rubrics in French and English with point values assigned for the speaking and written portions. Both are aligned with AP expectations for AP and pre AP courses.
* Wholistic rubrics with or without point values
* Single-column writing rubric
* Traditional chart-style speaking and writing rubrics
