This reading comprehension piece takes phrases we use everyday in our French classes and pairs them up with images to represent the text. Learners simply have to draw a line to link the two ideas. This worked well for my high-flyers and my identified students. You should hand write the names in on the family tree for the kids as well. Great for diagnostic, formative, or summative! Once the kids try to sound out the words a picture will start to make sense to them based upon the words you always use in your classroom!
