PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Want to get your French students using their city and places vocabulary? Need help with a fun way to encourage your intermediate to advanced students to speak more ?
This NO PREP activity is always a favorite in my class.
It can be used after learning specific vocabulary or as a fun interactive activity on a day when you need to change it up!
There are 60 questions in all, and you'll get questions in varying difficulty, so this is a perfect resource if you want to push your less-advanced students, review with your intermediate students, or reinforce with your advanced learners.

Topics used to discuss these cards:
* Preferences
* City vocabulary - common places you will find in most textbooks
* Methods of transportation (à pied, à vélo, en voiture, etc.)
* Prepositions loin de/près de
* Describing the town where one lives/one's neighborhood
* Enrichment vocabulary provided for advanced learners
* The pronoun "on"

Cards are in the present tense, but there are 4 cards that use the conditionnel of préférer if you want to introduce this to advanced learners. There are a few cards that are great for exposure to reflexive verbs with terms such as s'amuser, se promener, and se trouver.

All cards have a decorative border, because even middle-schoolers and high-schoolers like nice-looking resources.

These also make great task cards or speaking prompts!
Included also in this product 6 other great ideas for using these questions in your class tomorrow!

Here's how it works:
1. Print and cut out the questions, and give each student a question that they will ask to the class.
2. If space allows, have the students form two circles. The inside circle should face the outside circle and each student should have a partner. If you have an odd number of students, just rotate a student in after each round. If you don't have space (I never do!) just have them make two lines facing each other.
3. Pick a side/circle to start asking the questions. All students should respond as thoroughly as they can, and always in complete sentences!
4. Switch sides.
5. Rotate one student to the left or right. Only one circle or line will move during this activity.
6. When finished, collect all questions, then ask the class to give sample answers.

Have fun!
