This is a one-page product that allows students to practise their French with their classmates. A variety of vocabulary and basic questioning patterns are used.
Use this « sondage » to reinforce vocabulary pertaining to food, beverages, school subjects and extra-curricular activities. Also included are: est-ce que questions, qu’est-ce que questions, quelle, the « avoir » expressions of « soif & faim », the verbs « aimer, détester, manger, boire, faire, adorer and préférer ». Some questions are one-verb questions while others reinforce present tense two-verb sentences. Students will also need to know when and how to differentiate between using definite articles (le, la, les, l’) and indefinite articles (du, de la, des, de l’, un and une). Some vocabulary is included at the bottom of the survey to provide scaffolding for students who need some extra help while doing the activity.
This is a great oral activity that allows students to interact with each other while practising their French in oral expression. The questions are “personalized” for the students and so are interesting to them!
This product is written in French. The teacher directions are in English.
