This printable book allows students to complete the verb conjugation of 16 common verbs and then acts as a reference tool anytime students are competing written work. Each page features the past, present and future conjugation for a specific verb. Each tense table is organized to show students whether the tense is simple or requires an auxiliary. The book can be easily printed on 9 letter-sized pages and attached together with as little as a staple. The title page features an alphabetical list of the verbs featured to help students reference different pages quickly and easily.
The 9 pages can be printed on letter size paper. Once printed, fold the pages in half and they can then be organized in alphabetical order and stapled opposite the folded sides to create back-to-back page book. The cover page can be folded over top and secured with a staple.
I use this with French beginners. I will spend a short part of the period everyday to focus on completing the past, present and future tables for 1 verb per day for 16 days. Following this introduction, the book is complete and the students keep it with them and can then easily make reference to the different tables while completing written activities. I have found this to be very helpful both in improving the quality of my students' writing as well as being more efficient with my class time since students can for the majority of the time ensure verb conjugation accuracy autonomously.
