Product Description

While Freudian psychology is outdated, much of the literature written in the time of its practice and study had Freudian psychological traits influencing the characters (for example it has been said that in A Streetcar Named Desire, Stanley represents a person's "id", Stella represents the "ego", and Blanche represents the "superego". It can also be used as an entrance into learning to read literature through a psycho-analytic lens of literary criticism.

This worksheet offers a basic understanding of the above mentioned Freudian traits as a reference guide to be used in when researching/practicing characterization with literature written roughly between 1930's to 1990's
