FRICTION TASK CARDS With Power Point
My students love to stay busy with task cards. It really does break the concept down into manageable pieces. These are great for bellwork, note taking, mini-assessments, and exit tickets. I use "Talk Moves" a lot when using the task cards and give out 4 cards per table and have the table take turns discussing the questions on the cards. Talk about real involvement in the lesson.
12 Friction Task Cards to cut out and place at student work tables. Each task card deals with friction and the types of friction. Task card 11 and 12 involve solving story problems for the coefficient of friction. You can use these for independent research or have the students fill them out in a booklet type form as they are taking notes from your power point notes.
