Touching base with parents and families on a regular basis can do so much to ease minds and prevent needless miscommunication. For a long time, I’ve accomplished this with a weekly report that goes home each Friday. This fall, I decided to revise the one I’ve used forever, and this pack evolved out of that process.
These templates are intended to be printed out and written on, some by your students, others by you. I love the idea of ending the week with a recap of what we did, allowing my students time to reflect upon the learning we’ve done together, so sometimes I use those. At other times, we simply don’t have time for that, so I have a quick one that only I fill out.
This resource contains 3 distinct templates, with multiple versions of each template. There are a total of 16 Weekly Reports in all:
2 different types of student-directed reports, each in both color & black & white versions (4 templates total).
1 type of teacher-directed report. This template comes in 12 different versions (a mixture of b&w, color and seasonal varieties).
Just to be clear--there are 16 newsletters total, but only three different basic templates--there are so many because of the variety of seasonal clip art versions available.
Between the thumbnails and the preview, I think you get a good sampling. As always, please contact me prior to purchase with any and all questions!
