Please note that this is a GROWING bundle of friendly letter templates!
Growing means that I will keep adding to it as I make more letter templates. Find a list below of the sets that will be added throughout the year. I will most likely add even more to it. When I add new sets this resource, you will just come back and re-download this file to get the new additions.
Have your students practice a real world skill by implementing friendly letter writing into your weekly centers and stations! I created this resource because students LOVE to write letters to their friends and family. A letter writing center is engaging, fun, and best of all, requires ! Just copy and go!
Just copy your template double-sided and your students will do the rest! They will write the letter and fold it to create an envelope they can address. Your students can also decorate their stamp and seal (one of my students' favorite things to do).
One of the best pieces of advice I received as a new teacher was to try to create centers that could stay the same throughout the year. That advice has saved me loads of time throughout my fourteen years of teaching! The letter writing center is one of my go-to's and it's always a class favorite. Bonus- it's super easy to implement!
Since this station is in the rotation each week, my students know exactly what to do when their group is assigned to this center. That means I don’t need to explain how to do it and the kids don’t interrupt us during small group time. Best of all, there is no prep work! All you have to do is copy new letters for the week and you’re done!
