Product Description
Need a way to keep your kids engaged and learning during the "Halloween" season?? Hunt no further! This pack has 5 different math activities designed to get kids up and moving in your classroom and practicing math facts! Each would be a perfect lesson for your math day!

What you'll get:
*Ghost Hunt: finding ghosts with numbers and recording +/-1, +/-10, +/-100 (2 versions-1 review with +/-1. +/-10, numbers to 120; 2nd meeting second grade CCSS +/-10, +/-100-numbers to 1000)
*Batty Facts: finding addition and subtraction number sentences and deciding if they are true or false
*Spider Bonds: finding spider web "bonds," deciding what the missing part(s) is and writing the 4 +/- number sentences
*Costume Parade: Looking at dressed up kids with a skip pattern underneath that has part of the sequence missing. (3 versions of this; 1-numbers under 100, also including skip counting by 2; 2-numbers over 100, but "easy" skip counting parts--325, 330, 335...; 3-numbers over 100 with more difficult patterns--i.e. 126, 131, 136, etc..)
*Eye Spy: Finding eyes and writing the addition or subtraction number sentence, figuring out the sum or difference and deciding whether the answer is even or odd.

All include a recording sheet and directions. I plan on doing these with the LIGHTS OFF!!! Having students bring in flashlights for the week!
