This Frindle Book Club Packet is perfect for supporting rich book responses and book talks around the Andrew Clement's classic, Frindle.
This packet contains 6 pages of printable post-it notes that can be placed into the book (the page number is written on the top of each post-it). The post-its have varying open-ended questions meant to engage readers, assess for reading comprehension, and provide a launching point for each book talk.
This packet also contains pages with each post-it printed on the page and blank lines for written student response. This is a great resource especially for those students who may find it confusing or have difficulty organizing their responses in a separate reading notebook.
Lastly, this packet contains a blank teacher's observation template, which the teacher can use to take notes on her observations during the book talks, and a suggested calendar for when students should be reading independently/writing reading responses and when they should be engaged in a book talk.
