Whether kept in my lesson plan book as a planning tool, taped to my desk as a reference in teaching, or posted on my board as a quick guide to higher level questioning, Bloom’s Taxonomy has been a guide I have used frequently throughout my teaching career.
Through the use of classroom posters like the ones created for you in this adorable, colorful frog-themed pack, I have been able to help my students monitor their own levels of thinking, as well as design their own projects and learning goals.
These reference posters are a great resource for learners as they strive to tackle new areas of learning and commit other areas to memory and mastery. These posters also benefit teachers who seek to increase the rigor and complexity of their instruction. We all want to increase the amount of higher order thinking that is occurring in our classrooms!
These pages are perfect for laminating and mounting on a standards board, bulletin board, or as a part of a classroom display. There are also poster “markers” included, which may be used by teachers and/or students to track the levels of learning and thinking in the classroom. These pages also make great slides for use with classroom SMARTboards, projectors, etc. Both the traditional Bloom’s language is included here, as is the revised 21st century language (in 2 separate sets).
