A frog's anatomy is SO similar to a humans. I find the frog dissection to be the best opportunity I have to teach my students about their own anatomy and physiology. Rather than giving your students a simple, boring dissection packet, complete the dissection with them using this bundle! For 4 days, dissect and discuss each structure one at a time with your students using a 6-page teacher script (full of questions and memory hooks) and student notes pages. Throughout the dissection, provide your students with a coloring page of a frog, a labeling key, and a study guide. At the end of the dissection, test your students on the anatomy of the frog using a 60 question PowerPoint picture test (similar to a college style practicum). I have even included a student version of this PowerPoint that you can post ahead of time on your website for your students to study from.
