This Frog Fish 'n Match Game can be used to practice counting, number recognition and subitizing!
Students catch the frogs and place them on the corresponding lily pads.
You may provide a fishing rod to catch the frogs (easy to make - directions included) OR hide the frogs in a bin of shredded blue paper, OR simply lay the frogs on the table.
One more way to play (by creating a pretend fishing pond and using lines with clothespins) can be viewed on my blog HERE
This activity includes:
* Frogs # 1- 12 (Numerals)
* Frogs # 1 - 12 (Represented in a mix of ten frames, tally marks, and dice images. This set allows the students to practice subitizing.)
* Lily pads with flies (#1- 12)
Black and white printables have been provided as an ink-saving option for all pages. Just print the frogs and the lily pads on colored paper!
This math center is always a big hit in my class. I hope your class will love it too!
**Note - This game is included as one of the 11 activities in my giant SPRING Unit bundle for Pre-K to K. Check it out HERE
