This is a fun activity to use when teaching subtracting from 10 on the number line through hopping. The product includes an interactive PowerPoint (with a hopping frog) and student manipulatives (number line, frog, student response sheet). The students follow along with the PowerPoint. There are 10 problems and the students must use their frogs and number lines to figure out which number the frog will land on. So if the problem is 3-2=___, the students will place their frogs on the number three, and hop back two spaces to land on one. Then they record the answer on their response sheets, and continue along with the PowerPoint. This activity includes 10 problems.
