Here is a cute open ended game board to beat those winter blahs! Yes, you can use it to review or even introduce the life cycle of a frog, or you can just use it for fun when practicing any skill. I noticed that many school districts have cut back on content instruction time in order to add reading, writing, and math instruction time at the elementary level. I thought this might be a fun way for my Speech Therapy kids to get some content exposure while practicing their Speech and Language skills. We play this game with a penny, instead of dice. If you flip Heads, move ahead one space, Tails gets you two spaces ahead. If you get stuck on the lily pad, you lose a turn, and if you land on the alligator you are eaten for a snack and have to go back to start. Give it a whirl with your kids and let me know what you think.
