Description
Teaching little learners how to count back using a number line can be challenging. This hands-on activity makes teaching subtraction by counting back fun! Primary students will cut and color a little froggy and use the froggy to "jump" on the number line (the numbered lily pads)! A bonus page is included for gifted and advanced learners. A Google Slides version is also included for virtual learning or center time. This activity is compatible with the first grade Go Math program (Lesson 4.1), but it can be used with any math curriculum.
