This download includes four file folder games to use in companion with the book Froggy Gets Dressed by Jonathan London.
Froggy Gets Dressed is a great book for preschool aged students during winter. It is a cumulative story, based around a central theme of getting dressed. Each time Froggy goes outside to play in the snow, he has forgotten an article of clothing. So, he has to come back inside and take everything off in order to put on what he was missing.
The file folder games include: Dress Froggy, Following Directions, Picture Matching, and an open-ended board game. I use this set with early learners and children with significant cognitive and language disabilities. Skills targeted include: expanding utterances, vocabulary, picture matching, following directions, and positional concepts. Use the open-ended board game to target any other skills by pairing it with flashcards or apps.
Print all included materials. Use the directions on page 4 to glue the tops and bottoms onto four file folders. Laminate the file folders. Then attach velcro to make each folder into a game.
