This product is a best fit for the 2nd grade classroom. Some of the games may be a little hard for 1st graders, but with a little extra demonstration before playing, they should be fine. Third grade teachers will find this useful to review prior knowledge or for students that are struggling with the concept.

Lily Pad Hop- The students draw 2 cards and use a place value chart to make the greatest number possible, then they make the number with base ten blocks.
Cover the Lily Pads-
Students draw a card from the middle and count the base ten blocks pictured. They write the number on their paper and look for a lily pad with a greater than or less than sign and number to make the number sentence true.
Spin and Draw- Students spin 2 spinners and record the numbers. Then they draw base ten blocks to show the number.
This can also be modified to include a hundreds spinner.
To play these games the following classroom supplies are necessary- Base-ten blocks, pennies, colored chips, and paper clips.
