What educators are saying

There were many fun and engaging activities for my Pre-K students. They loved learning about frogs and pond life.
I have sent these learning activities home. The families love them and the students have learning games that are hands on. Thank you!

Products in this Bundle (4)

This Frog themed activity bundle includes 4 of my frog resources bundled together at a discount price. Activities are appropriate for preschool, kindergarten, homeschool and/or special education classrooms. The hands-on math and literacy activities are a great addition to your frog theme unit, Spring theme unit, or pond theme unit or lesson plans.

The set includes the following activities:

The Hungry Frog: Interactive Counting Book

Kids can practice counting 1-10 and composing and decomposing numbers to ten with this interactive hungry frog counting activity. One of my best selling resources! The pages can be assembled into a fun interactive counting book or can be used separately as play dough or math activity mats. This resource is a perfect addition to your math centers or math work stations and will be great for your frog theme unit, pond theme unit, or spring theme unit and lesson plans.

Create a busy book, a math center activity, or a take-home activity binder with this fun product. Children will practice counting, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence. They can also practice reading predictable text and composing and decomposing numbers from 1-10 as they "feed" a frog the appropriate number of bugs.

    The activity includes the following:

✔ 10 full sheet number pages

    ✔ 1 cover page

✔ printable bugs in two colors

    ✔ directions for construction.

Self-adhesive hook and loop tape is used to complete the activity. It is a little tedious to add hook and loop tape to the back of the bugs and frog tongues, but the resulting activity can be used for years to come and is so much fun for young children.

This activity is appropriate for a preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, homeschool, special education classroom, or for a speech therapy, or occupational therapy activity. It is a perfect addition to a thematic unit on frogs, ponds, spring, or summer.

The Hungry Frog can also be purchased separately .

    Lily Pad Landing-Math Game

Using a spinner, students fill their lily pad game board with little frog counters. Students will practice counting, numeral recognition, and one-to-one correspondence in this frog or pond themed grid game. Older students will practice simple addition and simple subtraction when they use the advanced spinner.

    This resource includes the following:

    ✔ lily pad game boards

    ✔ printable frog counters

✔ 2 different for easy differentiation

Lily Pad Landing Math Game can also be purchased separately .

Frog Alphabet Match and Beginning Sound Sorting Activity

A frog themed literacy activity for your preschool, pre-k or kindergarten classroom. A perfect addition to your frog them unit, Spring them unit, or pond theme unit or lesson plans. Kids can match letters or work on phonological awareness with these cute frog matching cards.

**Updated in 3/18 with beginning sound cards.

    This resource contains the following:

    ✔ 26 lowercase frog cards

    ✔ 26 uppercase frog cards

✔ 26 lowercase lily pad cards

✔ 26 uppercase lily pad cards

✔ 26 lily pad beginning sound cards with labels

✔ 26 lily pad beginning sound cards without labels

Children will enjoy helping the frogs jump onto their matching lily pad as they learn letter recognition and letter sounds..

You can use the set as a simple matching activity or use as a small group activity/game. You can add magnets to the letter cards and use the activity on cookie sheets or magnetic boards. Add a sensory experience to the activity by having the children search for the letter circles in a small tub of rice or beans. The activity can be used as a file folder game, would be a great addition to a busy bag for your young child, or can used in a take-home activity bag for your students. Directions and more ideas are included.

Frog Alphabet Match & Beginning Sound Sort can also be purchased separately
