Read these informative paragraphs about frogs written in different text structures. A great way to learn about frogs and also practice identifying text structures and using graphic organizers!
Students will read each paragraph and identify the text structure being used. The first worksheet includes all the examples on one page. The rest of the worksheets have the same examples with one example per page and give a place for the students to write. This packet has made my students think about text structure while also leading to good conversation about frogs.
Text structures included are: Compare and Contrast, Problem and Solution, Descriptive/Main Idea and Details, Sequencing, and Cause and Effect.
An answer key is provided.
