What educators are saying

I actually used this for a close read where students needed to fill in the correct word! However if I taught older students they would LOVE the maudlin version

Description

A fun Christmas madlib! Use it with a whole class or with individual students or clients. I use it during articulation therapy with students who need to work on carryover of articulation skills into reading and conversation; it can be used the same way for fluency practice (also great practice for parts of speech!)

After students fill in the parts of speech (without seeing the madlib itself) they will then "plug in" the parts of speech from page 1 into the Rudolph Christmas carol on page 2. The results are fun and sometimes hilarious!!

Be sure to sing the new song (using good speech!). Students can even highlight "their sound" within the poem for visual reminders. Send it home for speech homework so they can practice their good speech for mom and dad.
