Product Description
Fruit Loops Math & Literacy Center

★ Math Activities Plus 3 Fruit Loops poems to go along with the Math Center.

★ Give each student a baggie or paper cup with assorted fruit loops.
If you have a large class, you can ask students to work with a partner.

1) Students sort and count by colors. They can glue the pieces to the chart below, or place them, and then draw them, so that they can eat them!

2) There is a page to graph their results and a page to answer questions about the graph.

3) Another page asks students to solve some simple addition problems if they are ready for this kind of work. Otherwise it can be a simple sorting and counting activity.

4) I have provided a simple sorting map in case you’d like to make the activity a bit easier and not glue or draw the fruit loops onto the chart.

★ ★ FOR EXTRA CHALLENGE:

6) Adding 2 digits (full page)

7) Compare and subtract (2 full pages)

9) Number Stories with fruit loops (full page)
