This fun and easy activity can be used as the basis for an entire lesson or as a ticket to entry or ticket to exit for a class lesson on nutrition. Students are asked to write or draw a picture of a fruit or vegetable for each letter of the alphabet. They are then asked to go back through their chart and circle and count the different fruits and vegetables they have eaten in the last five days.
This fun activity encourages students to self assess, stretch their thinking and change their eating habits to make healthier choices.
The activity can be printed in black and white.
