This complete thematic unit teaches simple language to describe fruits and vegetables covering all modes: interpretive, presentational and interpersonal. It is aligned to the new WL standards at the novice low level, and it has a cultural focus on South American countries (Chile and Perú). With many activities and games, students acquire the targeted language (names of fruits and vegetables, sour, sweet, color and size) they will use to write a book and/or make a video at the end of the unit. It includes songs, videos, detailed teaching notes and suggestions, and printable playing cards, as well as a page with more games and resources. The pages follow a logical teaching pace, which will lead you through the unit. It is an excellent resource for a FLES/Dual Language program.
