Teachers have precious time during the day to complete everything in their lesson plans. Using the Fry First 100 words as a base I created 5 different work sheets that require children to Write, Read, Graph, Color and Cut each word. Each work sheet contains 5 words. There are 100 pages in this packet.
1.The children will locate, and circle the words in the word search. 2. Tally the words circled in the ‘Tally’ section. 3. Then transfer the tally marks down to the graphing area. 4. Lastly, they will trace over the sight words.
1.Trace the words written at the top of the page. 2. Circle the individual letters needed to make each word. 3. Circle the word that is spelled correctly. 4. Insert the missing letter to spell the word correctly.
There are words in bubbles all over the page. The 5 key words are listed at the top along with a color. Once the child locates the correct word they are to color that bubble the appropriate color.
1.Trace the words. 2. The letters needed to spell the words are located at the bottom of the page. The children will cut out each letter. 3. Using the letters they cut out, the children will then glue the appropriate letter in the boxes to create the words.
1.The key words are listed at the top of the page. There are boxes for each letter. Looking at the orientation of the letters the child must use deductive reasoning to write a letter in each box, thus spelling the appropriate word. 2. Unscramble each word. 3. draw a line to the matching word.
Thank you for looking at this packet. I will be posting similar packets with other levels of Dolch and Fry words soon. If you use different vocabulary words I would be more than happy to customize a packet for you.
