Popsicle Stick Game:
Copy on Avery address labels. Place on tongue depressors and their ready for play.
How to play:
Grab the tongue depressors and drop on the table. Student tries to read the ones that are facing up. If they get it correct they keep it then it’s the partners turn.
Sight Word Fluency Booklet
Students have an idividual sight word booklet that's broken up into 5, 20 word lists. Students practice reading fluently and test when ready. Teacher will place a sticker or stamp on the ball after the students pass that list.
Homerun Sight Word Game:
Students take turns pulling and reading from the pile. If they get it correct they can keep the word and if they get it wrong they put it back in the middle of the pile. If the students pull Strike card (back catcher) they put ALL their cards back. Keep playing until there are no more cards or time is up.
You can make copies of the flash cards found in the Homerun game and use in many different ways.
*Make 2 copies for a matching game.
*Make copies for students to practice at home. Althoughh all 100 are included, I only copy the 2 pages that include the words from their list. For example if they're on list 1B I will give them pages 3 and 4 from the sight words.
