Sight Word Bingo is an excellent way to practice and expose students to sight words. This purchase includes differentiated sets that are specifically designed to allow students to gain mastery over particular words from the Fry First and Second Hundred List. This is especially great for small group students needing extra practice, sub plans, or a Language Arts warm up. According to Fry's research, completed in 1996: The first 25 words make up about 1/3 of all items published. The first 100 words make up about 1/2 of all the words found in publications.
This purchase includes:
Six unique BINGO sets featuring Fry Sight words. Specifically:
-Four unique, color coded sets of 4 x 4 boards specific to each list within the First Hundred Fry sight words. (15 boards per set).
-Two unique sets of 5 x 5 boards specific to lists 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 within the Second Hundred Fry Sight Words. (25 boards per set)
-Word Lists & Word Cards per set

Go Green Set Up (WHAT I USE!):
-Print off only the desired BINGO grids.
-Insert BINGO grids into reusable dry erase pockets (pictured below).
-Students play by crossing off their called sight word boxes with a dry erase marker.
-Optional: to call the words, the teacher calling the sight words places the sight word list in a reusable dry erase pocket and checks off the words as they are randomly called.
