Since this document contain a total of 39 words, this resource is meant to be implemented over the course of several months as words are introduced.
Directions for Implementation:
Make copies of recording sheets to correspond with your curriculum/pacing. Place the recording sheets on clipboards in your reading center. Provide students with a variety of books to reference for this game. Students will use the books at the center to search for the sight words on their recording sheet. When a sight word is found, they will color a star next to the word. They should keep searching and coloring until they get a “winner word” (a word that has all of the stars colored in)!
My students LOVE this center, and I hope yours do too!
