Hello! These sight word sheets are helpful as an ongoing assessment and record keeping tool. I made the font large for students. The font is also helpful for me when I can't find my reading glasses. :) The top margin is larger than the others because I staple and three-hole punch the pages to store them in a binder. You'll notice that some words are much smaller than others. The smaller size is due to formatting so the word will fit in the column.
**I also have the 1st 100 and 2nd 100 sight word sheets for sale too!
Here's how I use the sheets:
I highlight words that the student reads correctly and automatically. If on a later date the student doesn't know a highlighted word or says it incorrectly, I circle it in pencil. Then later on, I know to go back to those circled words to check if the student knows them. If the student reads the word(s) automatically, I erase the circle.
At the bottom of the page I write the date and the score (number of words read correctly and automatically). I write each date/score in a different color. I purposefully left off lines for dates/scores so that you will have the space to do it your own way.
If you find an error, please let me know and I'll fix it quickly.
