Here are assessments for all 1,000 fry words. There are two assessments per 100 list.
The first one is a reading assessment. Have student read the word and mark each word that is missed. There is also a line at the bottom to set a goal for your students to meet and know all 100 words. There is also a table at the top to use to:
- identify how missed word is marked (highlighted, circled, checked, etc).
- how many words were missed
- when the next test date will be.
***I usually make a copy of their test in color to use again to see if the student missed new words or the same words, and also for the parents to see the students progress. Works well!
There are 100 boxes--one for each word. The student writes each word as you say it to them. I would make a copy to send home, circle the number that they missed, and circle those numbers on a new test for them to take next time (that way they don't need to write all 100 words and take up the whole day to finish).
I hope this works well for you like how it did for me! If you have any suggestions on how to make it better please let me know. Thank you!
