Product Description
Scissor Sight Words: Fry's 2nd 50 Sight Words. Scissoring is an important skill! In order to use scissors correctly, children need sufficient finger and hand strength and stability, sufficient development of the hand arches, hand–eye coordination, bilateral integration skills (using both hands together) and the ability to cross the midline. All of these same skills also contribute to the development of handwriting so they are of particular importance during Preschool and Kindergarten. And by scissoring sight words, students internalize the shape of the sight word. Brilliant! Remember, keep your thumb up while scissoring!
