Sight words are such an important part of everyday for your kiddos. If your class is like mine, everybody is has different abilities and needs to learn. In addition to my ice cream scoop sight words and interactive practice books, I use these worksheets to help students who are still struggling. I started using these pages during homework this year and the parents love that their kiddos are coming up with their own illustrations and sentences to go along with words they are learning in the classroom.
New sets will be added as they are completed. Each set will include 20 different Fry’s sight words. These sets correlate with my ice cream scoop sight word sets that are also in my TPT shop.
*set #5 words- could, would, should, what, when, which, who, will, with, make, take, any, many, are, far, car, part, hard, back, off
*word wall cards for each word (chalkboard and white background include)
*20 different sight word practice worksheets (1 for each sight word in the set). Each worksheet includes the following activities: coloring the sight word, tracing the word 3-5 times, spelling/writing the word neatly, identifying or filling in the missing letters to spell the word correctly, reading a sentence that has the sight word missing, writing the given sentence correctly, creating their own sentence and illustration with the given sight word.
*There is also an example sentence and picture in the top right corner that students can use to help generate their own sentence. I like these examples because it helps my lower students become confident in their own abilities to create or copy sentences (if that is the level they are on).
*please follow me on TPT to find more sight word activities that will be sure to help all your kiddos!
*If you see any mistakes, please feel free to email me as soon as possible.
*All fonts, graphics, and borders are credited on the final page of each pack.
