Worksheets for all chapters
This novel study was created for my 4th grade class, most of whom are low readers and need worksheets and questions that are not busy, less wordy, and have extra supports to find the answers in the text. I have been having trouble finding this and started creating my own resources to better meet the needs of my students.
It has a worksheet page for each chapter in the book. If your students can handle being given a packet, you could print it as an entire packet. I generally assign 1 chapter to read for homework a night and send one page to hold them accountable for reading.
Each chapter has a section with comprehension questions (find the answer in the text), and then other various activities covering many skills.
That’s 15 worksheets (plus answer keys).
I hope that this resource helps some other class!
Sincerely, Mrs. Buckeye Nut
