PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is the third lesson in a scheme of work about the Battle of Hastings. The lessons are aimed towards year 7 in the UK but could easily be adapted for other year levels and countries.

During this lesson, pupils will:
- Investigate the different types of soldiers who fought in the Saxon and Norman armies during the Battle of Hastings.
- Evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of the different soldiers.
- Based on the evidence the have gathered, pupils decide who they think would win.

This lesson is ready to teach and contains all of the resources needed in the PowerPoint.
