* To play hotseat place the students in groups of three. One person starts and is in the hot seat. The other two describe a word from one of their lists in Spanish to the person in the hot seat. They must keep describing and explaining the word in Spanish until the person figures out which word they are defining. The word itself may not be spoken during the description. Rotate who is in the hot seat.
To play taboo place the students in pairs. One partner starts and has to describe a word from their list to the their partner. They may not say the word being defined. Switch roles once the partner figures out the word.
This is the first of six units that are designed to cover an entire school year. This unit should take 5-6 weeks when included with other instruction (culture, grammar, listening, reading, writing, speaking, etc.) Unit two should be available in my store by the end of September.
