Here is a Power Point file with a main page calendar covering September 2017 through May 2018. Each school day is linked to a different writing prompt - 182 different Writing prompts. Students decide if their writing for the day was narrative, informational/explanatory, argument, or just descriptive practice. Upon clicking each option, it will drop off the screen if it is incorrect, the correct choice spins. They write and learn the types of writing. The choices and pictures are not offered after the first month; students must recall the types of writing. They can check their decision by clicking the bubble in the upper left, which will reveal the type of writing from that day.
Each Tuesday and Thursday writing prompt page then has a blue button that will take students to a paragraph to edit. The answer key is invisible underneath the paragraph, after completing, they can tap the white space and the answers will fade in. Printable copies are available free online.
It is exported from a SMARTnotebook file, so formatting isn't perfect, but all pages and links are active.
