Often times when I've been searching for a great homework spiral, not all of the questions are completely aligned with what I'm teaching, how I'm teaching it, or even when I'm teaching it. So...I created a for math homework for the entire year. All you have to do is plug in questions that are related to what YOU are doing in YOUR classroom. I've left spaces for 4 math problems per day. After each math page, there is a reading log where students can write the title of the book, a summary, which page they started and ended on, and a space to state whether they liked the book or pages in the book or not. You can print it front and back to have one sheet of homework for the week and save your paper. I created it in Google Docs so you can edit it as you'd like. I did label each page with the quarter and week so you can save the entire thing once you're done with it. I hope this helps many of you to give homework that makes sense and is aligned to what your students are learning each week and how they're learning it. No one knows your students better than you do! I hope everyone has a great school year!
