This is a fun Christmas quiz for use with younger teenagers. It's a version of my more challenging quiz. In this version, there are multiple choice options for the more difficult questions. Questions are general knowledge or trivia related to Christmas - traditions, movies, books and bible story.
It's in the format of a table quiz presentation. My class size is usually 25-30, so I usually divide students into groups/tables of 4 (3 is also good, more than 5 is difficult).
Use the free Table Labels
to identify each group. Also distribute answer sheets to each group. This are also available free at Christmas Holiday Table Quiz - Answer Sheets
There are thirty questions in the quiz - three rounds of ten questions. After the first ten questions, there is an opportunity to see all ten questions in that round. At this stage, I collect the answer sheets and while the next round is in progress, I score it. After the review of all questions in the second round, the answers to the first round are displayed. This lets teams know how they're getting on.. who's winning etc. You may wish to change the order of the presentation, but this works very well for me.
The quiz usually takes about 45 minutes, but you could stretch out to an hour if necessary.
Students get a real kick out of this activity.
