Description

This is a fun activity that teachers can use in their Grade 3 classrooms to get students to practice fractions, while engaging with technology.

In this activity set, there is a worksheet with 14 illustrations. Students need to calculate the value of the fraction from each illustration.

The answer recording sheet is in the form of a QR Code Puzzle. Max, the dog, has lost his way and wants to go back to his home. There are multiple paths Max can take but only one path is correct. Students can identify the right path by solving the questions and filling the blocks with the right answers. Once all the correct blocks are filled, the QR Code will become scannable to reveal a fun video song. This is to reward the students for helping Max reach his home.

This is the video that will play once the QR Code is scanned: http://safeshare.tv/w/QWFxzGMnlH.

Please note that this video is hosted on SafeShare.tv and is completely ad-free and safe to open in schools.

The activity set includes:
