PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Every Wednesday for homework, students write 3 sentences about a photograph copied on the back of this page. To use this for classwork, you could also project a photo on your classroom screen. Use any photo you find online or in magazines--there are tons of Pinterest boards dedicated to using photos for inferring!

This assignment allows students to practice basic sentence-writing skills, with a simple self-evaluation checklist below each sentence; and encourages them to use the reading skills of making inferences and connections.

The funnier or more unusual the photos you choose, the more fun your students will have!

Also available in my store is a 12-page packet of weekly writing outlines, with 12 different writing topics for students to fill in as homework or classwork. Check it out!
