Pinch cards are an easy, low tech way to assess students' attitudes, beliefs, and learning. Simply make as many copies as you have students and cut into vertical strips. Students then hold up their pinch card and pinch their answer to your questions. I've used these for pre-reading assignments, reading checks, and more. They're also very handy to have in case Kahoot or Plickers gets glitchy during the middle of your lesson. I printed mine in colored paper and laminated them. I've had them for years. I included two pages so you can print on both sides of the pinch cards.
