PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This light-hearted story introduces students to how radioactive half-life is used to calculate the age of anything that once lived...in this case, our hero, Dave the Giraffe.

The presentation is aimed at being memorable, while planting the ideas of the science of Carbon-14 and the essence of the calculations performed in radioactive dating. The teacher is then free to develop these ideas more rigorously to whatever level is required.
