This is a fun coloring activity over finding function values using function notation.
On the first 12 questions, the student is given an equation written in function notation and is asked to find a function value written in function notation. Functions range from easy such as f(x) = 3x, to more difficult: 3 - 5x or -x^2. 8 more questions follow where the student is given a graph and asked to find the function values written in function notation from the graph.
Next they use their answers to color in a tessellation design. 20 questions total. Key included.
Coloring is engaging and makes the work more fun. If you're going to color, it might as well be math! Key included.
